My name is Zack. I’m seven years old and I’m in first grade. I’m good at baseball and I like to play pitcher. I live on a lake with my Mom, my Dad, and my cat (Doorknob, or Knobby for short) and my dog (Smudge). I have a loft bed in my room and my computer and desk are underneath it. My Mom works at Toys “R” Us and it’s cool. I got to be on TV with my Dad when the new store in Times Square opened. It has a gigantic Ferris wheel, a huge “R” Zone for video games and a 20 foot tall T-Rex – he’s pretty scary! I go to summer camp on the lake. I get to swim on a swim team and go out in a boat. Last year, I was the only boy my age to swim in the short lake swim. I had to swim all the way from a house on the lake to the camp. It was about a quarter mile and I never even had to hold on to the boat that was along side of me just in case. I just went to the Grand Canyon on vacation and it was so cool. We got to see Meteor Crater, too. It was real cool, too. I love Harry Potter (check out my picture) and have read all four books so far. My Dad is going to adopt me this summer. I can’t wait. My new name is going to be Zack Kearns. |
