My name is Evan Ford. I am16 yrs old, and am in the 10th grade at Bothell High School in Bothell, WA. I consider myself to be an experienced traveler, having lived in 5 states so far. Bothell is a Northern suburb of Seattle. This fall, I am a proud member of the Bothell High School Cougar Marching Band. I play the cymbals, which is part of the percussion section. I am enjoying every last minute of it. Recently, our band joined 42 other bands from around the state, at the University of Washington Husky Band Day. There were over 4,000 musicians on the field at one time! This was in front of over 70,000 Husky fans and a national audience, as the Washington Huskies killed the Wyoming Cowboys, 35-14. I really enjoy being in the band, playing the cymbals and the drums. In June of this year, I completed the Washington state required drivers education program, and am on my way to my license soon, which is too cool to describe the feeling. The more I practice, the better I get. I can't wait to finally get my license. School life is great. Yes, that's me saying that. I am doing better with classes this year. I also plan to go to all the dances high school has to offer. The first one is in two weeks. (Homecoming) I also plan on getting a car for next year. That will be awesome! Right now I am working on remodeling my room. My dad and I are adding corrugated metal to the ceiling, along with new ductwork and lighting. It's gonna be cool. Last but not least, I am very close to being able to jam with my guitar-playing brother, Ben. He's awesome! Music is very important to Ben and me. |
