| After graduating from college in St.
Louis, David Palmer Ford moved to Los Angeles and began to work as a claims adjuster,
studying law in the evening. He also began to raise a family that would eventually
number two boys and four girls. The growing West Coast Ford Family Branch grew and prospered over the next ten years, as David became a lawyer and soon a partner in a law firm. Today the West Coast Branch, although still centered in Los Angeles, has spread out somewhat, with major twigs in other parts of California, in Missouri, and in Las Vegas.
